Warm weather means rosé, and for good reason. The best versions match with light springtime fare, and many are ideal for outdoor sipping in the warm sunshine. France’s Provence region is rosé’s spiritual home, producing pale and popular versions. But these aren’t France's only pink wines. So let’s bring in Tavel, a Southern Rhône Valley appellation that is distinct for producing exclusively rosé. The area's climate and soils make for expressive wines like those in this week’s selection. And ike many other rosés, most Tavels are modestly priced. Of these nine wines, eight are priced at $25 or less.
